ABSTRACT
Introducción: el análisis del incremento del número de pacientes se ve reflejado en la cobertura de los servicios quirúrgicos y de anestesiología del centro quirúrgico del Hospital Carlos Andrade Marín en los años 2011, 2012 y 2013. Este estudio tiene por objetivo realizar un análisis estadístico de la cobertura del centro quirúrgico del Hospital Carlos Andrade Marín en los años 2011, 2012 y 2013 como una herramienta de proyección y mejoramiento en la prestación de servicio en el centro quirúrgico. Materiales y métodos: es un estudio descriptivo observacional, donde se analizó las 51.439 cirugías realizadas en el centro quirúrgico del Hospital Carlos Andrade Marín en el período 2011, 2012 y 2013. Conclusiones: podemos concluir que el aumento de cobertura de pacientes se ve reflejado en la producción del centro quirúrgico de nuestro Hospital en estos tres años de investigación, ocupando los cuatro primeros puestos las especialidades de: Cirugía General, Traumatología, Urología y Cirugía Plástica.
Introduction: the analysis of the increase of affiliate demonstrates its result in the coverage of the operating room of Hospital Carlos Andrade Marin in the years 2011, 2012, 2013. The objective of this study is to perform a statistical analysis of the coverage of the operating room of Carlos Andrade Marin Hospital during 2011, 2012, 2013, to enable future projections to provide a better quality of care of our patients. Materials and methods: this is a descriptive observational study, we analyze 51439 surgeries performed in the operating room Hospital Carlos Andrade Marin during the period 2011, 2012 and 2013. Conclusions: we can conclude that the increase of coverage of affiliates, is reflected in the operating room production of our hospital, during this three years of investigation, occupying the first four posts: General Surgery, Traumatology, Urology and Plastic Surgery.
